Ordinary people would change it after driving 10,000 kilometers. The question you ask depends on the quality of the chain, each person’s maintenance efforts, and the environment in which it is used.
Let me talk about my experience.
It is normal for your chain to stretch while driving. You need to tighten the chain a little. The sagging range of the chain is generally kept at about 2.5cm. This will continue until the chain cannot be tightened. Then you can cut out a few sections before tightening. If your chain sag within a range of about 2.5cm, and the chain has been oiled, and there is abnormal noise when riding (when the front and rear wheels are not deflected), it means that the life of your chain has expired. This is due to the stretching of the chain, and the teeth of the sprocket are not in the middle of the chain buckle during driving. There is a deviation, so it is time to replace the chain. Note that the wear of the sprocket is generally caused by the lengthening of the chain, or there is no Pay attention to the degree of chain sag. If the degree is too large or too small, it will cause chain wear. Also, do not oil the chain frequently. Frequent oiling will also cause the chain to sag and increase speed. Do not change the sprocket when changing the chain (if the sprocket is not seriously worn). It is recommended to change to the brand SHUANGJIA chain, which is thicker.
